Jay, Florida is located in Santa Rosa County approximately 44 miles north of downtown Pensacola, and almost 27 miles north/northwest of Milton.  This rural farming community (cotton, soybeans, peanuts and hay) is home to the Jay Peanut Festival and several local rodeo events.  Nearby Escambia River and Blackwater River provide canoeing, fishing, and public, licensed hunting.
